What is a Cyanotype

A cyanotype is a ‘print’ or ‘photograph’ made with a photo sensative chemicals : ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide. When exposed to light it turns blue. Hence the name Cyanotype. Cyanotypes can be ‘printed’ in all sorts of materials.

I normally use a 25gPF/100ml water to 10gFAC/100ml water, proportion. I print on cold press watercolor paper about 140lb.

Print sizes can vary from very small , less than an inch squared to very very large. 258 square feet. I like to work with people. 3 persons in one being the largest I have done. Usually it is one person or part of one.
